Baker’s Towing & Recovery is hiring an experienced Heavy-Duty Wrecker Driver to join our team.
We are looking for a dependable, professional operator with at least 2 years of heavy-duty wrecker experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced towing and recovery environment.
This position is for an experienced operator who understands the responsibility that comes with operating heavy-duty towing and recovery equipment and takes pride in doing the job safely and professionally.
Position Responsibilities
- Operate heavy-duty wreckers and recovery equipment
- Perform heavy-duty towing and recovery calls
- Transport commercial vehicles and equipment as assigned
- Complete recoveries, winch-outs, and roadside calls
- Inspect equipment before and after use
- Maintain clean and professional equipment
- Communicate with dispatch, customers, law enforcement, and other personnel
- Follow company safety procedures and operating standards
- Complete required paperwork and job documentation
- Assist other operators and team members when needed
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of heavy-duty wrecker experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Acceptable driving record
- Ability to safely operate heavy-duty towing equipment
- Strong understanding of towing and recovery safety
- Dependable and punctual
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work scheduled shifts, nights, weekends, or emergency calls as required
