Baker’s Towing & Recovery is seeking a dependable, motivated individual to join our team as a Light Duty Wrecker Operator and Parts Store Associate. This position offers a unique opportunity to work both in the towing industry and in our parts operation, providing a variety of responsibilities and opportunities for growth.
Responsibilities
- Operate light-duty tow trucks safely and professionally
- Provide excellent customer service during towing and roadside service calls
- Deliver and pick up automotive parts as needed
- Assist customers at the parts counter
- Receive, stock, organize, and inventory parts
- Maintain cleanliness of trucks, equipment, and work areas
- Complete required paperwork and electronic documentation
- Assist other departments as needed
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Basic automotive knowledge preferred
- Towing experience is a plus but not required; training is available
